It is an honor for me, as President of the Spanish Institute of Engineering (IIE), a member institution of the CNE, to host and organize the General Assembly of ENGINEERS EUROPE, an essential forum for cooperation and the strengthening of engineering in Europe. Engineering is a fundamental pillar for addressing the major challenges facing our society, and gatherings like this reinforce dialogue, the exchange of knowledge, and the development of a shared vision. From the CNE, and particularly as the IIE, we reaffirm our commitment to excellence, collaboration, and progress in service to Europe and its citizens.

As president of the Spanish Institute of Graduate Engineers and Technical Engineers (INGITE), I cordially invite you to participate in the General Assembly of Engineers of Europe, which will take place on May 21 and 22 in Málaga. This meeting is crucial for discussing and making progress on essential issues for the future of engineering in Europe: the harmonization of qualifications, mutual recognition and professional mobility, and common educational principles that foster a competitive and cohesive profession across the continent.
